We're not afraid to break a sweat. At Zephyr, we take a hands-on approach to community building by volunteering time, raising funds, donating money, and digging in with hard work. Whether helping the elderly with home repairs, walking or riding to raise money for health-related organizations and non-profits, working with youth and neighborhood groups, or donating over $1 Million to various charities and organizations in recent years, all of our agents and managers are proud to actively contribute to our community. Zephyr supports a variety of human rights, AIDS and breast cancer research, and youth and children's organizations, including:





Project Open Hand cooks and delivers nutritious meals daily to over 2,300 homebound HIV patients. Zephyr agents maintain a weekly food delivery route. www.openhand.org

Meritus College Fund bridges the gap to higher education for San Francisco public school graduates by providing 4-year scholarships to low income students. www.meritusfund.org

EARN is a California based nonprofit that gives low-income works the power to create economic prosperity for their families for generations to come. www.earn.org

Human Rights Campaign and National Center for Lesbian Rights have been national leaders in advancing the legal rights of gays and lesbians. Zephyr contributes time and donations to these organizations. www.hrc.org

Support for Families of Children with Disabilities. Since 1982, this organization has offered information, education and parent-to-parent support free of charge to families of children with any special health care need in San Francisco. www.supportforfamilies.org

Special Olympics. Zephyr is pleased to support the Bay Area Special Olympics program. Recently, Zephyr sponsored a team that raised $5000 during the bay area Walk for the Gold and provided volunteer staff for the Track and Field Invitational at Kezar Stadium. www.sonc.org

Central YMCA Community Support Campaign: This campaign supports the youth center, senior center, and literacy school operating out of the landmark building at 220 Golden Gate Avenue. www.ymcasf.org/Central/

The Community Center Project of San Francisco was conceived by Harvey Milk and other dedicated activists 25 years ago. The Center is the cornerstone of political, emotional, and cultural needs of the LGBT community and provides referral services, educational programs, outreach to elders, social events and other programs. Project Inform is the nation’s leading resource for HIV and AIDS treatment information. Zephyr participates in fundraising events for this non-profit organization working to end the AIDS epidemic. www.projinf.org

Lyon-Martin Women’s Health Services: Since 1979 L-M has provided high quality, affordable, comprehensive health care for women and by women in a safe and nurturing environment. www.lyon-martin.org

Larkin Street Youth Center: Founded in 1984, Larkin Street Youth Center was created as a continuum of services to inspire youth to move beyond the streets, to nurture potential, promote dignity, and support bold steps by all. www.larkinstreetyouth.org

Continuum: The mission of Continuum is to empower and dignify the lives of under-served people with HIV/AIDS by providing innovative health and human services that prevent institutionalization, minimize harm, establish relationships and facilitate community. www.continuumhiv.org

AMFAR: The American Foundation for AIDS Research is the leading U. S. non-profit organization dedicated to the support of AIDS research, AIDS prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy. www.amfar.org
